AFCAT
AFCAT is the Air Force officer job exam that is conducted by Indian Air Force (IAF). This exam is conducted for all branches of officers but not for medical, or dental and it is also not applicable for NDA and CDSE grade officers.
Air Force Common Admission Test is the correct abbreviation for AFCAT. This test will be conducted every year in the month of February and August. The date of application will be open in the month of December and June. If a candidate clears this test then he can work in an Air Force Base across India.
The question paper for this exam contains 100 questions. Each question carries 3 marks but it is only for correct answers, 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer from your total marks. Without negative marks, there will be no exams.
The questions are asked on the basis of your general awareness, Numerical ability, Verbal ability, and Military Aptitude.
General Awareness
This part contains History, Civics, Politics, Geography, Basic Science, Art and culture, Defence, and Current affairs.
